The Tour De Suisse is one of the four most prestigious cycling tours in the world. This competition is ideally placed in the cycling calendar as it allows competitors to maintain their form coming out of the Giro d?Italia and warming up for the Tour De France. The Tour De Suisse Archive is a fine collection of footage from this gruelling event which takes place every June in Switzerland.

INTRODUCTION


The Tour De Suisse first took place in 1933 and has evolved in timing, duration and sponsorship since then. Today, it is set over 10 stages and 1,520 km are covered by 136 competitors from 17 teams.

The race offers gruelling mountain climbs and at least one individual time trial. The Tour De Suisse Archive features some of the world’s best cyclists, including Eddy Merckx, Lance Armstrong and Jan Ullrich among others.

The Tour De Suisse Archive features coverage of the last ninety minutes of each stage of every race since 2000. It is an exciting and highly competitive collection of footage.
