INTRODUCTION

Unlike the other Nobel Prizes, The Nobel Peace Prize may be awarded to persons or organizations that are in the process of resolving an issue or creating world peace, rather than upon the resolution of the issue.
The Nobel Peace Prize stands as a prestigious and momentous award, honouring some of the greatest and inspiring individuals of our time. These include Mother Teresa, Mikhail Gorbachev, Aung San Suu Kyi, the 14th Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu and Elie Wiesel.

For the past decade, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony has been followed by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, which is broadcast to over 150 countries and more than 450 million households worldwide. The Concert has received international fame and includes the participation of top celebrity hosts and performers.

The Nobel peace prize archive is an amazing collection to go back over the astonishing stories of people that contribute to the peace from 1978 to 2004.
