INTRODUCTION


The Premier League’s inaugural season 1992–93 originally consisted of 22 clubs however at the start of the 1995-96 season the number was reduced to 20. As a result of the promotion and relegation, a total of 40 clubs have been members of The Premier League since its inception.

Each week The Premier League provides high quality soccer action packed with skill, passion and energy as teams battle for the prestigious honour of being Premier League Champions. In fourteen complete seasons, the title has been won by only four teams: Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea and Manchester United. PROGRAMMING


1. Ten Season – A Decade of Great Matches:


Tells the story of the greatest games over the first decade of The Premier League. Each programme replays highlights from three selected matches, with nostalgic anecdotes from players, managers and supporters alike.

Format: 3 x 52-minute programmes



2. Ten Seasons – A Decade of Great Goals:

Charts the great goals from the first decade of the Premier League (1992-93 to 2002-03). The programme is divided up into season-by-season reviews culminating in the ‘The Top Ten Premier League Goals’, decided by a panel of judges. The programme concludes with ‘The Goal of the Decade’ as voted on by the public.

Format: 1 x 90-minute programme



3. Own Goals & Gaffs:

A choice collection of footballing mishaps and mayhem from 10 years of The Premier League. Beautifully executed own goals and appalling misses are complimented by a compilation of out-takes and observations based on the game’s supporting cast – its team managers, officials, stewards and fans.

Format: 1 x 52-minute programme



4. Review of the Season:

A 52-minute compilation that brings you all the great stories from that season. Month by month we chart the dominance of those challenging for the title at one end and the fight against relegation at the other. Each month includes interviews with the key players and managers, news round-ups and all the best action from that part of the season.

Years Available: 2001/02 season to 2006/07 season

Format: 1 x 52-minute programme available per season



5. Goals of the Season:

A compilation of the best goals from that season with the programme culminating in a selection of the top ten goals of the season. Also included are interviews with the top players, the worst own goals, the best free kicks’ as well as montages of the great saves of the season.

Years Available: 2001/02 season to 2006/07 season

Format: 1 x 52-minute programme available per season



6. Golden Moments


The Golden Moments collection currently comprises of 111 vignettes with new Golden Moments being carefully selected at the end of each season capturing the defining moments of previous seasons’ producing an up-to-date and growing history of The Premier League.

Format: 111 x 1-minute vignettes with cleared English commentary and International sound. Graphics included throughout programmes.



7. Classic Matches

200 Premier League Matches from the 1992/1993 to 2003/2004 seasons have been edited into 26 minute highlight packages and are available for sale to both Premier League and non-Premier League Broadcasters. The Classic Matches will provide broadcasters with action packed, high quality, premium sports programming ideal for either stand alone programmes or as part of a series.
