The Seniors Tour of Champions now called the blackrock tour of champions is the senior tennis circuit where legends of the game meet up to re-live old rivalries. Created in 1995 The Tour of Champions's circuit was an innovation of Jimmy Connors, who dreamt of a unified senior’s tennis schedule. The worldwide senior tennis circuit has been heralded as a model of success both as a business venture and as a sports entity. All the excitement of these stunning matches has been captured in the Seniors Tour of Champions Archive.

INTRODUCTION


The format of The Senior Tour of Champions sees eight players compete in 2 pools of 4. They play the best of 2 sets with a “Champions Tie Break” (first to 10 points) played if sets are tied 1-1.

Great moments of the past Open eras are recalled as legends John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Paul Haarhuis, Goran Ivanisevic, and many others return to resume old rivalries and battle head to head.

The Archive collection consists of over 500 hours of footage starting from 2004 to the present day.
