INTRODUCTION

The Dutch National Team have one of the richest histories in international football, having won the 1988 European Championships, and reaching the World Cups final on two occasions, in 1974 and 1978.

At the peak of their success in the 1970s, the team was famous for its mastery of 'Total Football' and were nicknamed "Clockwork Orange" for their precision passing.

The KNVB Archive collection features many memorable moments and spectacular action from Holland’s past soccer glories.

FOOTAGE COLLECTION

The KNVB Archive features the most classic moments from Holland’s world class players, including all recent home World Cup Qualifiers, European Championship Qualifiers, and Friendly Internationals are available since 1996. Their qualifying group for the 2006 World Cup in Germany included the Czech Republic, Romania, Finland, Macedonia FYR, Armenia & Andorra.
