INTRODUCTION

Since the launch of the Le Mans Series in 2004, the event has certainly found its place in the motor racing world. Each season runs from March to November, and there are approximately five/six races during this period of time. A range of countries host each race and there are now more than forty cars on each starting grid.

In 2007, The Le Mans Series travels throughout the Europe starting with the official testing on the French Paul Ricard circuit and visiting Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium and UK to finally go to Brazil for the end of the season. The competitors are motivated and highly enthusiastic, fiercely contesting the four categories in the race – LMP1, LMP2, GT1 and GT2. Despite the competitive nature of the race, participants still retain the up-most respect for the traditional values of endurance racing.
