IMG Media Archive acquires Canadian Football League

IMG Media Archive is proud to announce their new partnership with the Canadian Football League.

This deal will see the archive store and sell all footage of the legendary game from 1998 onwards. The collection includes match highlights as well as complete feeds from the popular end-of-season Grey Cup, the biggest sporting event in Canadian history. Big hits, great touch downs and compelling action from the game featuring top players such as Damon Allen, Doug Flutie, Willy Pless, Troy Davis, Ben Cahoon and Kevin Glenn are also included in the archive collection.

The Canadian Football League (CFL) is the second most popular sports league in Canada and boasts the biggest sporting event in Canada’s history. Divided into East and West divisions with 8 teams collectively, CFL action is characterised by city rivalries and fast competition. This comes to a head in November, when the Grey Cup induces a week long nationwide festival of celebration, culminating with an impressive half time show and victory parade.
